I did not mean to imply that there were not significant problems, or that the
industry didn't learn a lot -- they did, the industry attitude pre-TMI was
pretty cavalier (one of the reasons I was anti-nuke at the time, by the way)
and I'm not trying to "rewrite history," only to point out that the
anti-nukes' reaction was to cheer.  The anti-nukes were GLAD that the
accident at TMI happened!  They are sorry that the effects weren't worse!  
That was all I wanted to point out.

And by the way, months after the Cerro Grande fire there was still
finger-pointing, blame, and confusion.
