one more time....
I know that emotions are running high in our current situation, and that
there are a number of very interesting topics to discuss. But please let's
keep the discussion on Radsafe limited to topics that at least touch on
issues of radiation safety.
OK topics - airport X ray capabilities, terrorist threats involving nuclear
weapons or installations (being careful about sharing of sensitive
information), nuclear sources in WTC debris.
Non-desirable topics - basic issues of airline security, passenger check in
procedures, WTC recovery efforts (that don't have to do with potential
radiation sources), American way of life, Afghani way of life, patriotism,
etc.
I will go way out on a limb here and guess that there are a number of other
lists, BBs, and chat rooms where these issues are being discussed at great
length. Off line discussion between interested parties can always be pursued
as well. Thanks for your cooperation!
