Breast Cancer Therapy Doses

Hi All,



A friend of mine asked a question regarding the radiation exposure

associated with breast cancer therapies.  She had 30 days of treatment with

a beam irradiator.  The folks doing the irradiations said the cumulative

dose to the target tissue was approximately 5000 - 6000 Rad.  What is the

approximate "whole body" dose from this type of treatment?  I wanted to try

and put this in a more familiar context for her.
