Radiation Safety Positions available immediately at
the NASA, Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Maryland.
Health Physicist/RSO - Salary range 75-100K.
Experience must include laser safety, dosimeter, microwave and RF - non-ionizing
as well as ionizing radiation. Minimum 4 year degree in one of the
following - Health Physics, Biochemistry, Environmental Science, or similar
degree. Minimum 10 years experience. Masters level a plus. RSO
Training. Laser Safety Officer Training.
Health Physics Technician - Salary range 50-70K -
Training and/or professional development coursework in Radiation Protection,
Radiation Safety, Environmental Health, NRC/DOT/EPA compliance overview,
Laser/Microwave Hazards coursework, Radiation safety in the Laboratory,
Dosimetry, Radio Frequency (RF), Experience with NRC irradiator and broadscrope
licensures. Minimum 5 years experience. 4-year degree preferred in
applicable area.
