AVAILABLE POSITION AT BECHTEL NEVADA
OPERATIONS SPECIALIST
Bechtel Nevada has an immediate opening for an Operations Specialist to
support emergency response field operations (real-world and exercises) to
include Radiological Search Operations, Consequence Management Operations,
and Accident Response Group Operations. Work location is at the Remote
Sensing Laboratory in Las Vegas, Nevada. U.S. citizenship and ability to
obtain a security clearance are required.
Successful candidate will develop and implement emergency response
operational concepts and field training concepts; plan and/or participate in
field demonstrations with other government agencies; coordinate equipment
maintenance programs with operational plans; and coordinate operational
plans with contractor/national laboratory organizations. Successful
candidate must be willing and able to travel worldwide, sometimes under
austere conditions. Successful candidate must also submit to required
immunizations.
Successful candidate must possess B.A./B.S. degree plus a minimum of four
years experience in emergency response planning, field execution, deployment
operations, and logistics, or a combination of relevant training and
experience. Demonstrated ability to effectively coordinate team projects.
Working knowledge of nuclear radiation and related concepts. Working
knowledge of personal computers and related hardware.
