HOTSPOT Code for Dispersed Radioactive Material

Does anyone on RADSAFE (particularly from State radiation programs)

have any experience dealing with an dose projection code called HotSpot?

It is a dose projection program listed by RSICC that is apparently

designed for use with radioactive material dispersion incidents. There

are various scenarios modeled in the code, including FIRE and EXPLOSION

type situations. This leads me to suspect it is potentially for use

following anything from fires involving radioactive materials to

monitoring contamination after an explosive detonation that spreads the

material. If you are familiar with its use, are there training

resources(classroom and otherwise) that are available for would be

users? Does anyone exercise with it as an emergency preparedness tool?

Thanks ahead of time for your help!
