Physics Society and the Potomac Chapter of the American Industrial Hygiene

This talk will address treatment technologies and management option for
various types of mixed waste. In addition, as a member of the National
Council on Radiation Protection and Measurements (NCRP) and the chair of
the NCRP committee on waste avoidance and volume reduction, Mr. Dornsife
will provide a preview of soon to be published report "Management Techniques
for laboratory and Other Small Institutional Generators to Minimize Off-Site
Disposal of Low Level Radioactive Waste."

Please provide your reservation by noon 2/11/02. Please e-mail your
reservation to joel.rabovsky@eh.doe.gov or if you have no email access, call
Joel Rabovsky at 301-903-2135. If you make a reservation and cannot attend
the meeting, please let us know because the cost of the meeting is based on
the number of reservations received. The Chapter lost $400 as a result of
"no-shows"at the last meeting (11/28/01). This is a significant waste of
your dues.
