Respirator Re-Use

Need some information as quickly as possible from DOE and NRC facilities.



Do you permit individuals to re-use the same respirator and cartridge(s)

provided they are adequately controlled (worn by the same individual; if

used in a rad environment, then surveyed following each use, disinfected)?

YES or NO



If "NO", then do you know of any regulation that prohibits re-use?
