Re: Two Person Debate

I do not agree with Dave Biela and Michael Stabin: The debate on low-dose

effects interests more a few people, even if not all intervene in the

debate. There are many important facets in radiation protection,

operational and otherwise. The debate on low-dose effects is crucial, it

fundamentally concerns the real, not theoretical, monetary and public health

cost-effectiveness of ALL the resources used to reduce/eliminate doses at

natural environmental levels, whatever the source. If public health

policies and practices are about saving real (as opposed to hypothetical)

lives, are we, serving our society well ?
