A few days ago I posted a note spoofing the article referenced above. My

behavior was simply impatience with the seemingly endless "study" of the

suitability of Yucca Mt. for the storage of expended nuclear fuel. I

apologize, however, to those involved with that temperature study - my

remarks were poorly chosen and not intended to denigrate their efforts

in any way. In fact, I look forward to following the interesting results

of that particular study. I just hope the Yucca politics might be

resolved in my lifetime.
