Maury,

    Why would anyone want to "denigrate" such a profound scientific effort.

Even though it was previously suspected, they have confirmed that when you

heat a rock, its temperature increases. I think they should next determine

whether changes in atmospheric pressure might affect the integrity of the

repository. I know a few contractors who would be happy to do this research

for only a few megabucks.

Relatively speaking, it would be a bargain!
