Outlook does not "grab" viruses, people write viruses and worms designed to

work with Outlook because (1) it's very popular and the problems will spread

more quickly and/or (2) they dislike Microsoft Corp and target their

products. Our list did get hit recently, and I am working with Vanderbilt

people to upgrade our security features here. I will say more when I have

some definite answers to report. You can and should upgrade your anti-virus

software frequently, but unfortunately the sick puppies who write these

things stay quite busy, churning out new codes all the time, which can

propagate themselves quickly.
