I think that if they had evacuated the people immediately as they were
supposed to do, they would have done more to show their concerns for their
own citizens and the world. Instead, they created a huge welfare state.
Also, what report are you talking about? Do you have a copy of it?

Perhaps you need to consider the report last month before it was pulled back
by UN bureaucrats, and more from the Press Release and the newspaper reports
than the internal statements which will never be seen by anyone:
Note also: the devastation of evacuation was caused by extremism in the name
of "rad protection" (far below natural background levels) and the costs
should be charged to the extremists that so mislead the public about
radiation effects.
