RE: News on BNL Deer

The Year 2000 BNL Environmental Report is available for review over the

internet.  Go to <<http://www.bnl.gov/bnlweb/PDF/00SER/ch6.pdf>> for

Chapter 6 which discusses the deer monitoring program - including onsite

and offsite deer.  It does not include the "fawn" reported in the news

article, but it does have a good description of the monitoring program and

the variability of results.  BTW, based on this description, the units

probably should have been pCi/g in flesh.
