Great Lakes Chapter, Health Physics Society



All RADSAFER's are cordially invited to the next meeting of the Great

Lakes Chapter, Health Physics Society, at the GM Technical Center, 30500

Mound Road, Warren, MI (Take Mound Road Exit from I-696 and proceed

north to 12 Mile Road. Turn right on 12 Mile Road. Enter at the

gatehouse on the left and proceed north to Building 1-2.).



DATE: March 5, 2002

TIME: Registration / Socialization: 5:30 pm

 Dinner: 6:00 pm

 Presentation: 6:15 pm

The cost is $10 and includes pizza or sandwiches and soft drink.



The presentation will be by Eric Schneider, PhD, Radiation Safety

Officer, GM Technical Center. Dr. Schneider has 23 years

of experience formulating, conducting, implementing, and publishing

innovative applied research. This includes 3 patents, 31

publications, 81 R&D Reports and Memoranda. One of Dr. Schneider's

recent scientific achievements was the development of

a radiotracer method to measure the pathway of coolant leakage into

engine oil and applied it to solve a field problem in the

7.4 L, L21 engine.
