West Wing, et. al.
What I find most disturbing about this discussion and others like it is that
it appears that the population is learning about what can be difficult and
nuanced topics from fiction desgined to be entertaining. Instead of
discussing whether or not those shows whose primary purpose is to entertain
are accurate, maybe a discussion can be started (not necessarily here on
RADSAFE) on why this is so or even if it is true that shows like the West
Wing have a significant effect on people's views about technical matters.
