West Wing, et. al.



What I find most disturbing about this discussion and others like it is that

it appears that the population is learning about what can be difficult and

nuanced topics from fiction desgined to be entertaining. Instead of

discussing whether or not those shows whose primary purpose is to entertain

are accurate, maybe a discussion can be started (not necessarily here on

RADSAFE) on why this is so or even if it is true that shows like the West

Wing have a significant effect on people's views about technical matters.
