I beg to differ. There's no need to look under any rocks. Right here in California there is an attack under way on anything nuclear. In the 10 days, there have been three "anti-nuclear" articles in the L.A. Times, and in the last four months there have been a dozen or so in the Times, the Daily News and the Sacramento Bee (those are the ones I've seen). The theme is the same, "dangerous radioactive waste going to landfills." This press campaign is aimed at garnering support for SB 1444, 1623, 2065 and AB 2214. Those four bills could effectively shut out use of radioactive materials in the State of California. There's no paranoia needed here, the threat is quite real.
