Mangano uses the Sternglass and Gould method of sifting through data until
he finds what he likes. His random observations are unrelated to any real
cause-effect relationships, but are found by pure chance. He could just as
easily develop such relationships in correlation to rainfall levels or
phases of the moon. No real scientist would take his work seriously.
Out of 100 nuclear power plants in the U.S., 50 go up and 50 go down with
respect to any chosen observation. For the 50 that go down on the first
observation, 25 go up on the second. Big deal!
