NEXTEP Environmental, Inc.

Full-time Position Available - Assistant Health Physics Lab Manager



NEXTEP Environmental seeks a self-motivated individual with a Master’s or

Ph.D. in physics or chemistry to manage the soil division of an

environmental laboratory.  The emphasis of the lab is on assessment of

potential radioactive contamination in soils.   Candidates should possess

excellent problem-solving skills, a strong background in radiation

instrumentation, knowledge of radioisotopes, and environmental restoration.

Responsibilities include:

    - Sustaining a high throughput of samples (several thousand per month).

    - Complying with state and federal regulations.

    - Monitoring of quality assurance/quality control measures.

    - Training of technicians.
