information on the E-520

Just a brief note to Radsafe land to thank all of those who helped with information, pictures and links on the E-520 probe.


The concensus appears to be that it is a relatively old, but rugged/reliable unit that is still in use in some facilities, but is beginning to suffer from a lack of, or expensive replacement parts.  It was interesting to note (for me at least) that it could be used both as a doserate meter and with the appropriate calibration and probe attached as a countrate (contamination meter).  There was I thinking that these all purpose doserate countrate meters were a modern inovation.  How the youth of today think that they invented everything.  Lol.
