Re: The Nation article on nuke plant security

John,

I agree that this forum is unlikely to be frightened by the misinformation or

lies that are being spread not just by Norm but as we see every day, the

media and organizations with an anti-nuke agenda. I also agree that it is

sometimes humorous.

However, People uneducated regarding these topics are frightened. They read

about kitchen table nukes, anti radiation pills, dirty bombs. millions of

deaths, years of nuclear induced uninhabitable cities on and on and on. What

are they to think? Norm. does it give you joy to know you have the power to

make the average guy loose sleep, afraid to use public transportation, or go

to a ballgame? I think it is just another form of terrorism for people who

know better to spread these lies, especially now. It serves no good purpose.

Besides those who are crying now about the use of nuclear power would likely

be the first to complain about the impact on their lifestyles if in fact the

nukes were closed down. I;m just tired of seeing scared people everywhere,

when the thing they are frightened by are lies told by folks who act so

concerned for them, but obviously don't give a damn about their wellbeing.

GIVE ME A BREAK! The Coalition for Peace and Justice. Rename your little

organisation Norm. Something like the Coalition for Terror and Lies would be

so much closer to the truth.
