RE: Columbia U study supports LNT

You're right Norm - the results of a single study often only gain validity

when they are shown to be reproducible; and on the subject of LNT-Hormesis

-- they both have multiple studies supporting them. That's why the

LNT-Hormesis debate among HPs has been and will likely continue to be an

on-going debate for a long time to come. In fact, it seems that as the

number of studies performed on this issue increases, the number of possible

scenarios depicting the true dose-response relationship (whatever that might

be) also increases (e.g. LNT, Hormesis, true sigmoidal, sigmoidal-linear,

etc.).

Hi Sandy,

If I stretched too far, I'll pull the rope back in a bit. Anyway, mainly

posted the article because it was on topic. One study doesn't resolve the

LNT-Hormesis debate any more than all the other postings on radsafe have.
