Re: NCRP FOUNDATION FOR OCCUPATIONAL RADON STANDARD
Thomas,
I believe the report http://www.ncrp.com/review.html
was released by the NCRP and is not the work of a
hacker. The report has some good sections, but in my
opinion is extremely outdated and adds very little new
information to our current knowlwdge on radon risks. In
fact, some sections misrepresent our current
understanding of residential radon risks. One of the two
references to me in the document is apparently from a
post on Radsafe. I would urge the committee to include
only published peer reviewed literature in their reports
and not posts from lists.
I urge Radsafers to comment on the document.
Regards, Bill Field
