The person selected for the position will lead projects and activities of

the Uranium and Naturally Occurring Radioactive Material (NORM) Licensing

Program.  Perform highly advanced health physics (radiological health) work

to evaluate proposed equipment, facilities, procedures and personnel for

adequacy to minimize danger to public health and safety and/or the

environment.  Work involves planning and/or developing uranium and NORM

program teams and coordinating special environmental projects in the area of

health physics (radiological health).  Work under direction with extensive

latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.  Serve as

project leader and/or project team member in other Bureau activities as

needed.
