The Health Physics Society invites members and other interested 

parties to participate in the 36th HPS Midyear Topical Meeting to be 

held at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in San Antonio, Texas. The hotel 

faces the Riverwalk on one side and the Alamo on the other, and is 

within a short walking distance to a variety of restaurants, shops 

and sites. The local committee has planned an exciting Night Out at 

the Buckhorn Hall of Horns with plenty of food and an open bar. Come 

take a winter break and experience the famous Texas hospitality and 

that great TexMex cuisine.  



The technical programs for our meeting will start off with a Plenary 

Session on Monday morning followed by technical presentations Monday 

afternoon through Wednesday afternoon. The format will include both 

oral and poster sessions. Authors of posters will stand by their 

posters at designated times and have the opportunity to share their 

work one on one with participants.  



ABSTRACTS MUST BE SUBMITTED ELECTRONICALLY OR POSTMARKED BY FRIDAY, 

JULY 26th, 2002."  



Please note that the abstracts will be due in about a month!
