RE: uranium in seawater



I get my pricing quotes from unreliable sources, and I stand corrected now.

I also heard stated that the price at which U extraction from seawater

becomes feasible, economically, is $150/lb.

Any comments on that?

I am not sure where you are getting your pricing quotes but my Spot price on

U3O8 $9.90/lb (U.S.) as posted on the http://www.uxc.com/

Now if it was at $60.00/lb then it does become feasible to "mine" the ocean

for U.  And Kitty Litter becomes a valuable source, too.
