RE: Deadly Waste

PLEASE tell me you are joking.Look around Vegas in a 100 mile radius. What do you see? People say that dumps should be put in the 'middle of nowhere'........Vegas IS the middle of nowhere. Plus....I don't hear a bunch of fuss from the people about NTS which is <100 miles away. Nor do I hear the local economy screaming in pain from the jobs/dollars brouight to the area by the rad waste/nuclear industry. This 'NIBY" mentallity is getting stale. It's a big country and if someone doesn't like what is going on in any particular area they have the right to go elsewhere. Besides...I've been to Vegas....Yucca won't be the first 'dump' built in that part of the desert.

Not only are Nevada residents doomed, but the really serious consequence

of Yucca Mountain is the negative impact it might have on the Strip Casinos.
