Correction to Reuters Article - Point Beach Nuclear

I think that my server did "not" send this out, and am therefore senfing from 

a difference E-Mail address. If you recevie this twice, that is the 

explanation:

I received this information from a knowledgeable individual at the 

facility. The comments correct some of the mis-information or 

implications contained within the article. With permission, I am 

providing the individual's comments:



"The situation was discovered by plant staff, not NRC. We reported it to

NRC and immediate corrective actions were taken.  Procedures were upgraded

the next day to be more explicit about actions operators should take to

prevent the problem. We then also installed a back-up air supply system to

the valves in question to eliminate the possibility.  



Also, the plant is operated by Nuclear Management Company, not 

Wisconsin Energy. And Wisconsin Electric's name is now We Energies"
