The Soviet Union declared war on Japan on August 8, two days after the Hiroshima bombing and 1 day before the Nagasaki bombing.



	> Wars should be fought to the total defeat of the enemy.  



The objective of a justifiable (defensive) war should be the unconditional surrender or the annihilation of the enemy... whichever is accomplished first.
