The two are:

K4[Fe(II)(CN)6]

and

K3[Fe(III)(CN)6]



precipitated with Fe(III).



Perhaps it was a tri- or tetraammonium complex with NH4 [Fe(II/III)(CN)6] .



I played with both of them as a kid (still have them in my home - 

inaccessible to kids...). Used the dark blue color to paint some pieces of 

furniture in my room.



Hmm - may be one should go to the ol' Chemical Abstracts etc (warm acid 

medium question & dissociation constants).
