DDE and the Interventional Cardiologist

The interventional cardiologist wears 3 dosimeters:  one on the dominant

hand (extremity), one behind the apron (whole body), one on the collar

outside the apron (head & neck badge). The head & neck badge measures dose

to the lens of the eye (which has a different annual limit). A formula is

then applied to calculate TEDE to the whole body using numbers obtained from

the two badges.
