As a health physicist who believes deeply in "beneficial uses of radiation,"
I want to say that I agree with you 100%. This country has the opportunity
to start leading the world away from the nuclear weapons road, if we choose
to. Since this particular topic is not really "on topic," I'll leave it at
that.
