It is interesting to note, (especially Bjorn) that on page 7 "Dr. Hardell
is the only medical doctor relied on by the plaintiffs to support specific
causation. He is a full professor in oncology at the University Hospital in
Orebro, Sweden, who divides his time among research, teaching, and clinical
practice....
P13 "Fairly read, his papers, deposition and hearing testimony do not
support finding a scientifically valid dose-response relationship for
mobile phone use and brain cancer, particularly not for astrocytoma. "
I won't read any more...or bore you...but this is how we, on this side of
the pond, get the feeling that Sweden is at the forefront of these
investigations. Also, the judge certainly had some expert help of her own.
Very interesting.
Cheers,
Richard
