Geiger counter wanted

Hi y'all.

Does anyone have a working Geiger counter that they would be willing to

donate or sell for a reasonable price? I almost bid on this one -

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=728368788 ,

but the price went too high for my personal pocket.

It needs to be working, but calibration is not necessary. Audio is desired,

but also not necessary if I can build it.

I plan to use it as a part of demonstrations to local school children about

nuclear technologies, radiation, etc.

Please contact me off list.

Best regards,

Jim

Hold the door for the stranger behind you. When the driver a

half-car-length in front of you signals to get over, slow down. Smile and

say "hi" to the folks you pass on the sidewalk. Give blood. Volunteer.
