Re: Radwaste Storage Containers



You can't design the containers in a vacuum.  Since the containers are an

integral part of the facility, you must design the facility, including the

containers.  Other considerations include the design life of the facility and

whether you want the storage containers to also be the shipping containers.



I've found some useful guidance in a recent EPRI report, "Interim Storage of

Low and Intermediate Level Wastes:  Guidelines for Extended Storage."
