CHEAPEST GM instrument yet!!

My question is how does a gm tube measure beta? If it is reading in

roentgen or a fraction there of, is it useful to the individual wearing the

bargain dosimeter, since (as i understand it) roentgens only apply to the

effect of gammas or x-ray on air?

I though this might be of general interest - a $49 GM instrument.

Limited? For sure! Cheap? Less than the cost of a GM tube. Useful?

Could be. At least the claims are realistic (ok ok - so they can't

spell!)
