SNM-ACNP Diagnostic Nuclear Medicine Licensing Guide

Dear Radsafers:


NRC has posted the Society of Nuclear Medicine-American College of

Nuclear Physicians Diagnostic Nuclear Medicine Licensing Guide for Part

35 on its web site.  NRC has approved this guide as an alternative

to NUREG-1556 Volume 9.  As the SNM-ACNP guide is scientifically

valid and medically sensible, it is likely that many licensees would

choose to use it instead of Volume 9.  As many of you are RSO's

and/or write licenses, check it out!
