NCRP is seeking an Executive Director

Position Description - Executive Director of the National Council on
Radiation Protection and Measurements (NCRP)
The NCRP is seeking applicants for the full-time position of Executive
Director. The successful candidate will initially hold the position of
Deputy Executive Director, and is expected to advance within one year to the
full-time position of Executive Director. The Deputy Executive Director
will assist the Executive Director in both administrative and scientific
functions, including financial management, oversight of office operations,
preparation of grant and contract proposals, and meeting NCRP's reporting
requirements to its sponsors.
Prospective candidates should have a masters degree or doctorate in either
the physical sciences or life sciences. Demonstrated experience in
scientific and financial management and expertise in health physics or
medical physics are desirable qualifications. It is expected that the
successful candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience,
and be willing to reside in the Washington, DC, metropolitan area.
Compensation will be competitive with current market levels in comparable
positions, and the annual salary is expected to range from approximately
$80,000 to $120,000 depending on experience. The NCRP is an equal
