Re: NIH FS re: Nasopharyngeal Radium Irradiation (NRI)
My father-in-law received this treatment for ringworm in NYC. He
routinely has a small area of his scalp scraped for some sort of
recurring growth and was involved in a follow up study run by someone
at New York Universtiy.
I guess it got the ring worm.

I believe that was a grenz ray irradiation. And yes - with unfortunate
results.
