APHYS-2003 Conference organization
Dear Dr. Peņa Bernal and colleagues in address:
thank you very much for your message. The forthcoming International Meeting
on Applied Physics (APHYS-2003) is a joint iniciative of Formatex, a Spanish
non-profit Technological organization, Innovatex (a regional technology
enterprise) and a group of professors at the Department of Physics of the
University of Extremadura. As you can see from the Conference website
www.formatex.org/aphys2003/aphys2003.htm , in addition a large group of
professors of different universities are participating in the organization
and planning of the Conference. Information about the Scientific Committee
and Board of reviewers can be also found at the website.
Regarding the Guest Editors of the special issues to be edited with accepted
and presented papers, we are still at an too early stage of the Conference
organization and this has not been decided yet. In any case, these issues
will be edited by one conference representative and one/two reputed
scientist in the area. All the information regarding these and any other
aspects of the Conference organization will be posted at the website as soon
as the information is available. Also the official list of reviewers will be
included in the Conference publications.
The Plenary Speaker related with Radiation Protection will be Lars Persson,
Retired Scientist of the Swedish Radiation Protection Authority, Sweden,
which will give a talk on "Radiation Protection of Nuclear Workers - Ethical
Issues" . A number of Invited Speakers will be selected from the works
submitted for presentation at the Conference.
Thank you!
A.Mendez-Vilas
APHYS-2003 Co-ordinator
