Re: Job Posting

I greatly admire your courage. You're the type of person I want in my organization.

Having said that, I think that entry level hp's should not be required to put their lives on the line to get a living wage.

In addition, I don't see any volunteers for a "mass migration.."

I'd like to reiterate that the problem should be solved by HPS, which allegedly represents our professional interests. There should be established standards for hp positions, eg, RSO's at different types of facilities, assistant RSO's, radiological engineers, technicians, etc. These standards should be enforced by the regulators.

I don't see any other way to make this work.

The opinions expressed are strictly mine.

It's not about dose, it's about trust.

Curies forever.

I said, "No, not really," a bold move for an out-of-work single mom with a B.S. but no experience. I was offered an additional 15%, an amount that would have taken me 5 years to achieve in the state system. This was still nearly an insult, but I was in no position to bargain further. I agree that HP's need to insist on higher starting salaries; we are seldom appreciated for what we do.
