While I do agree that implementing the above will help, I don't 

really believe that it will change much in the way of HP 

compensation. One response to your recommendation from HPS could very 

well be, that we have a certification program, and that is the venue 

HPs should take. Perhaps the way to proceed is to define the 

standards you suggest in an ANSI Standard, that could be in N13 for 

example. There is already ANSI 8.1 and 3.1 that addresses power 

reactor RPM and ANSI qualified technicians. That is the way I believe 

that we address this. However, I still don't think that is going to 

change anything in the way of compensation. There are less jobs out 

there and there are a number of HPs looking for work. It is simply a 

supply and demand. When employers start to hire again, the 

compensation will increase. Until that is the case, there will be 

less opportunities.
