Retrospective neutron dosimetry

Radsafers,

Does anyone have any insights regarding how accurately Landauer film badge

dosimetry was able to measure thermal and fast neutrons between 1948 and

1975? Does anyone know of any studies suggesting that the actual exposures

were under reported because of the difficulty in measuring such a wide range

of energies?
