I question why a 5-day transit process?  If the samples are with you,

you can change out regular ice.  If you are shipping, use an overnight

service and enclose a cold pack.  Dry ice poses a hazard for displacing

oxygen in a restricted space as it sublimes, so you need to ensure that

you don't suffocate someone.  Transport services such as FedEx may have

rules governing use of dry ice in shipments, so you need to check with

them.
