RE: Bismuth breaks half-life record



Well, as noted in an earlier post, all matter decays (and has a finite life), so in many ways the answer is likely to be yes...  This is a little off-subject, but I have never been totally comfortable with Astronomers/Cosmologist's red-shift conclusions.  It may be that the photon(s) detected from distant galaxies are themselves decaying, after all they have lost a lot of energy in 13+ billion years (if they are indeed THAT old), and NOTHING lasts forever.
