Not to beat a dead horse, but in the course of my work today I serendipitously happened upon a series of AEC memos to file that were the monthly production reports of uranium products. A typical one was for January 1948 (F. A. Chrestia to Files, 2/13/18) and gave the following information that referred to Electro Met.

 

Green salt inventory (made on site in some cases, sent from other sites in other cases)

    58 tons at Linde

    12 tons at Electro Met

    41 tons at Mallinckrodt

    85 tons in storage at St. Louis (possibly also at Mallinckrodt)

    21 tons awaiting analysis (not specified where)

 

Metal production rates in tons per month for a three-month period:

                            Dec 1947    Jan 1948        Feb 1948 (projected)

    Mallinckrodt        19.5            22.3                19.8

    Electro Met          3.3              5.3                 5.8
