MEDHP-SEC: RE: Doctors' knowledge of radiation exposure

Thanks John and Dan for passing this along.

It's only a one page report on a questionnaire survey of 130 physicians in

the UK, which uses the US HPS 'experts' page as one of their sources. (The

6th author is identified as a consultant radiologist; most of the rest are

surgeons).

Does anyone know if this has been done in the US? I suspect that the results

would be similar (but I, too, do not work in a medical facility). I've been

thinking of a similar survey on physicians' awareness of their own exposures

(including those to the head).

I received this through another list server and thought I would pass it

along. Obvious, Dan does not work at a medical facility. It would be

interesting to look at the distribution of specialties and results. Who

were the radiologist, gynecologists, surgeons, etc.?

This is sad. A very short paper worth a look.
