American Nuclear Society Meeting on Davis-Besse

All Radsafers are cordially invited to attend the next meeting of the

Michigan Section, American Nuclear Society, on Thursday, October 23.



Our speaker will be Patrick J. McCloskey, Manager - Environmental and

Chemistry, at the Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Plant.  His topic will be,

"The Davis-Besse Reactor Head Event - A Lesson in Safety Culture."



The meeting will be at Detroit Edison's Monroe Activity Center, 2035 Fix

Road, Monroe, MI.  This is near the Nadeau Road exit of Interstate 75,

approximately 17 miles north of the Ohio line.



The schedule is:  4:30 pm - Board meeting, 5:30 pm - attitude

adjustment, 6:00 pm - steak dinner, 7:00 pm - program.



Reservations by Thursday, October 16 are required to attend.  Please

call 734-586-4168 for reservations.
