.....1000x.05=50milliroentgens/hr.......2000x.05=100milliroentgens/hr......etc. Depending on just how many "thousands of 

times" they are talking about, they could be talking about a considerable dose 

rate. 

You're absolutely right!!  I misread that.  My mistake.
