I don't know that the Enron debacle was done by "best and brightest."  I thought it was done by the wealthiest and greediest.



Seriously, relying on an aphorism to make an argument(as in  "the 'best and brightest' ...brought us Vietnam...")does not resolve anything, nor is it either informative or convincing.
